Very unprofessional service every time I've dealt with them - go with someone else!
They do not care about there Empolyes when they have been with you for 17 year's after doing your best, this is not the Christan place they claim to be.
They also often request that I help the driver unload the delivery from the back of the truck, because most of their delivery trucks aren't equipped with lift gates, or even a hand truck with a ratcheting platform. Either send another assistant, or make a policy of only lift gate trucks for residential deliveries! I understand it will cost extra, but that can be an up front charge on to the residential delivery service, rather than requesting the customer assist with the delivery.
I've gotten a few large items (150-200+ lbs) delivered from Southeastern Freight Lines, and their customer service has been horrible every time. I live on a cul-de-sac, and they ALWAYS call and ask me to meet them somewhere else for the delivery since they have a policy of no dead-end street deliveries. If I have to meet you somewhere other than the delivery address, you're not a delivery service! No other freight company that's delivered to my house has ever had a problem with it, including full size semi trucks.
