Great value for a no frills hotel. We usually stay in other hotels around the area when we're in town but this time we tried a Baymont property. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and cleanliness of this hotel. A little more noisy than we expected.. but overall great place to stay in the Huntsville area without breaking the bank.
I stayed here because everything else was booked. It's a decent older hotel for the price, nothing special. It was clean, however The room showed a lot of wear. The room was comfortable for the night. However if you're seeking 5 star accommodations then this hotel is not for you. If you're seeking a decent room in a good location and price...then this hotel will work for you. I personally don't mind an older hotel as long it's clean and I feel safe...and this hotel was acceptable.
Much older hotel, there are many newer nicer properties for the rate but in a pinch when other hotels in the area are sold out this place is okay. I did see some dead bugs and mold smell in lower rooms. The sheets were dirty, not enough toilet paper. Maids were nice. Front desk is ok.
My holiday weekend ended horribly due to the stay at Baymont. I was bit by a stage 3 BED BUG. I took the BED BUG ITSELF downstairs in a clear cup to the front office for them to only take my name and phone number to pass to management. Here we are on Day 3 and no call from management. WHERE IS MANAGEMENT? I have repeatedly called Baymont to speak to management and every time I call management is not available. WHERE IS MANAGEMENT? I have seeked treatment for my BED BUG bite and tried calling the establishment again. Once again management was not available. Please refrain from staying at this hotel due to BED BUGS and poor management.
The only reason that I gave this one star is because you can't enter a ZERO .Let me start. Check in........We went to the room and that we were given and it was not ready. Sheets off the bed and not clean. We went back to desk and rang the bell repeatedly .No one came to desk. Finally a nice Maid came by and said that she would have room ready in 10 minutes. We left the hotel at that point and visited our relatives. Later in the evening, we came back to the room and the toilet would not flush. We called housekeeping in the morning and they did come by and fixed the toilet. Then came breakfast.....
One pre-made egg and one sausage were available. No water. No waffle mix. No milk for cereal. No coffee cups. Basically nothing. By the time I went to complain at the front desk, a line of people had formed to eat without food. The attendant then went and dumped frozen pre-made egg products and frozen sausages in the warmers. Needless to say, there was no breakfast ready for anyone. Extremely poor execution by the staff. Will NOT be back again!!!
