Love the care and staff here. Each of them are very kind and compassionate! Can't say enough wonderful things about their dog day camp program. Our dog has been attending for four years and gets so excited each day to see his friends. Love their play yards. Sprocket loves the dog pools :)
As to the services they provide- I got my dog back groomed completely crookedly, I'll have to go back and fix that tonight. But then one of the staff told me that my dog had an abdominal hernia. Yes, yes she does. In fact, I paid you guys $600 two years ago to fix her hernia when you spayed her and you didn't do that. But you ASSURED ME that the little bubble on her belly was fixed and would go away over time. It hasn't. And now it's a problem? Why would I trust you with my dog's life? You guys are scam artists, using people's pets as leverage to get as much money as you can from them.
I'm officially ending my 10 year relationship with Madison Vet Hospital. You don't get my money any more. The last 2 years have pushed my to the limit, but today pushed me over the edge. I've already spoken to management once about the woman in her late 20's that works the front desk. I'm truly sorry that my asking for an explanation of charges was such an inconvenience to your day. In fact, that was the reason I called management on you before. Not because of the charges, but because you're a complete jerk when you're asked for ANYTHING.
I've seen just about every Doctor there and they're all wonderful.
Taking recommendations for ANY better vet in the area.
Unless you are a millionaire, don't go here. Every problem you bring your pet in for is treated as worse case scenario so they can run unnecessary test to run your bill sky high. They charge for everything even to call in a prescription that THEY decided not to carry anymore. I had to go elsewhere. They were about to break me. The front desk staff is incredibly rude.
A bit on the expensive side but quality care for my dogs. Seem to want to add charges at every visit, even if just for boarding.
Now don't get me wrong, I am incredibly pissed that the staff PROACTIVELY offered me an estimate this morning, and once again I was charged $100 more (this afternoon) than the original estimate, without explanation. However, if the woman had said something to the effect of "let's take a look at this and make sure everything is okay," I probably wouldn't have decided to switch vets. So in a way, I appreciate her garbage attitude, because at least I'm free of this place.
