Friendly staff

Not too happy about how bullying gets handled. There should be a zero tolerance policy. If bullying is allowed at this age level, it will only get worse in middle and high school. It's important for bullying to be discouraged at this level.

Way too much homework for a third grader.I told my daughter, welcome to college!

Everything is nice and friendly until such time as they decide whether your child passes or fails, then only standardized test scores matter. So if your child has problems with taking tests or has a bad day on test day, your child automatically fails. Absolutely no thought or reason in their decision making, only state mandated testing results. So despite my child successfully learning reading, writing and basic math, she failed 1st grade. Everything you fear about "Alabama" public education is true. This school is no exception.
