From our car and through the procedures which followed, we were in good hands. Thank you Frankie, DeAnna, Tiffani, Teneeka, & Dr. Falcon!!!
I had to take my 8 year old son to the ER last night 11/15/17 because of his explosive anger issues. He wouldn't walk on his own so a couple of the nurses or medical staff had to carry him back to the room. It was about 2 hours before the Doctor came in and I was not pleased with him at all. He hardly said anything to me or my son and left the room never to be seen again. It was another 2 hours (10:30 pm) before the on screen psychologist talked with me. By this time, my son was already asleep. They didn't take any labs or urine so nothing got ruled out. The Dr Swan would not entertain this issue being physical in nature but purely behavioral. It seems to me that if I have to bring my son to the ER they should rule out all possibilities before discharge. I left there with no answers but see your psychiatrist as follow-up. WTH?? What happened to critical thinking and ruling out things before jumping to conclusions? Why didn't you take a urine sample or blood? What if he had been exposed to something while at school that I don't know about? Truly disappointed by this visit. My son is experiencing something which only started about 6 months ago. Another thing, my son urinates a lot and seems to have incontinence. He has wet the bed and soiled himself on a regular basis since he turned 8 years old. He never had this problem before. I mentioned this to the ER staff but nothing else was done. When he fell asleep he did wet the bed in the ER. He has had to wear Under Jammies at night now for about 5 or 6 months. I know he uses the restroom a lot at school as well. I really need answers as to what is going on with my child.
As a nurse for 20 years, I learn something new everyday. However, I'm a long way from stupid. Nurse acted like I was crazy for being there after severe back, right hip and right leg pain for almost a week. I couldn't stand, walk, sit or lay the pain was so severe. After waiting 2 hours in waiting room the suppose to be doctor came in, never examined me, refused to do xray s. He was in the room about/maybe 1 minute. Then I had to wait forever to be discharged. This place is a joke.
The staff were all very kind and friendly. The doctor was professional. Overall it was by far the least miserable ER visit I have ever had. The wait was incredibly short. Thank you HH Madison.
I only had to wait 30 minutes before being called into triage, then I waited about 10 minutes to see the nurse practitioner, I had 2nd degreen burns on my hand so they wanted the doctor to see me , overall I was in and out in 2 and 1/2 hours the staff was caring and friendly the treatment I received was well worth the drive to go . The E.R doctor was very understanding and attentive. I would recommend going here for an Emergency!
