Fantastic Imaging and Lab department. Always friendly service and professional service. A great asset to the Madison community.

I usually can’t say enough good things about this hospital but last night was just uncalled for. Dr Chu has absolutely no bedside manners at all. Every time I asked her a question she acted like I was bothering her and she would give me looks like I was stupid or something while talking. Her response to things I would ask was either an “ I don’t know” or some shoulder shrug movement. My nurse was the only one who acted like they knew what was going on. My nurse and the NP that came in had more knowledge then the actual doctor. But considering the ER wasn’t full, it shouldn’t have taken 8 hours. I have never in my life been there for that long. I still came home not knowing the correct diagnosis so now I’m going to see my regular doctor. I definitely don’t appreciate being thrown around like I was and like the doctor didn’t care anything about me. I would never recommend her. So thanks for a waste of my time.

They have no ethics and there are no black nurses or doctors. They have repeatedly said I make them feel uncomfortable loudly enough where I can hear them and have refused to come into my room. They expressed shock when my blood test results came revealing I wasn't on any "drugs" Its hard to believe these people have actually went to college.

Overall it’s a great hospital. I did have one bad experience where I went in with a brain hemorrhage and they listened to my symptoms, evaluated me and put me on an IV fluid drip and said I was dehydrated and to follow up with my primary care doctor the following day. The next night I had to go to a different emergency room and they immediately did a scan and found the hemorrhage. It’s really an unfortunate oversight, as the other hospital literally destroyed my family due to making assumptions rather than giving a proper diagnosis. I’d rather be sent away with no diagnosis than have a flat out lie told on me. I’d definitely go back to Madison Hospital. Other than this one oversight (albeit a very big oversight), it’s been great.

4 hours in the ER room. 2 hours in waiting room. Inconsiderate staff. RN Elizabeth will threaten you with psych screening as you beg for help. My husband is a soldier. He is deployed. I was with my sister in law. No treatment, just urine and blood. Had to go to another hospital. I had kidney stones and infection.I filed a report. It’s too early due to inflammation and infection to know if I have permanent damage. Not sure what happened to this hospital. I have had blood work and my husband has had X-rays here. My mom had a colonoscopy here. Never in my life. They used to be a great place.
