Don't go here if you a.) expect an attentive dentist, and b.) don't expect to pay more than a copay for a routine checkup and cleaning.
A couple weeks later, I got a bill for $118, despite the fact that several employees told me my copay would be fine. When I asked about the bill, they said the insurance didn't want to cover everything. I've had the same insurance for years, and never had a problem with other dentists. I asked the Rousseau staff if they were simply too pricey for my coverage, and they admitted they might be. I'll be finding a new dentist.
I moved to Madison last year, and chose Rousseau Family Dentistry due to its convenient location. After my x-rays and cleaning, the actual dentist came in (presumably Dr. Rousseau). He gave me teeth a cursory glance (a minute, tops) mumbled that things looked fine (despite the fact that I had a cavity and needed a wisdom tooth checked). He left. The hygienist made an uncomfortable joke about "in and out" and the doctor "wanting to go home." Ha ha.
